Tips for Preparing for Exams: June 21st -24th
1. Organize your notes in folders/binder according to subjects and in chronological (date) order.
2. Locate all old tests for review purposes.
3. Start reviewing your notes/diagrams now a little every day. Make sure you know what the teacher is covering on the exam. If there is a review sheet – use it!
4. Organize a quiet study area at home away from distractions. Put away all cell phones/Ipads etc. while you study!
5. Study with a group of friends/parents. Ask each other questions and explain answers to each other. Spend 10-15 minutes every day for each of the 4 exam subjects. Review terminology/vocabulary for each specific subject.
6. Do lots of practice questions.
7. Round up all of your textbooks as they will need to be turned in before you write the exam.
8. Use your weekends for extra review/study. There are only 3 between now and exams.
9. Make sure you have turned in all required work to the teacher so that you are going into the exam with the best class grade possible.
10. Get a good night’s sleep before the exam and eat a good breakfast so you will be ready to do your best!
11. Memorize the exam schedule!
12. Use online resources like Khan Academy, Exam Bank and the Key Study Guides to assist you.

HELP NEEDED! MSA COMMUNITY FEEDING STATION
If you are an animal/cat lover we are hoping you could help us this summer with our MSA Community Feeding Station. We have been operating the cat feeding station for the past 7 years. We are able to take care of the feedings for most of the year. However, we are both off the island for summer holidays.
The cats await us in the morning and evening, and we need to know they are being cared for during our absence. We are feeding about 12 cats, and with the exception of one, all are neutered or spayed. The station is located across from MSA, secured behind a locked gate.
We would provide food for the time you commit to feeding and a key for access to the feeder. We have been feeding twice a day: early morning and evening (dinnertime). Ideally for each day we are looking for someone to do an early morning feeding (around 6:30 -8:30 am) and another early evening-dinnertime feeding (around 6:00 -8:00 pm). The dates we need volunteers are July 3rd - August 30th inclusive.
Any time you could spare-- a day, a morning or an evening-- would be very much appreciated! We can be contacted by email cwhite@msa.bm or phone 292-4134 extension 1953.
