Skating Party

THURSDAY, MARCH 7, 5:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

SAS has been holding skating parties at the Lynwood Sport Center for over four decades now. Come join the tradition! Kids of all ages are invited; there are accommodations for even the youngest skaters. Admission is $6, and skate rentals are $2.50 (they even have learn-to-skate skates for the little ones, and "walkers" on wheels are available for $4 rental fee). Parents/guardians are not required to skate. Every student does need to be accompanied by a responsible adult who will sign them in and out and remain on the premises for the duration of the event. This means that if you are unable to stay, another adult (18 or over) must be willing to take responsibility for your child in your absence. Our March Skating Party is being hosted by the 6th Grade Parents, and there are still a couple of volunteer spots remaining for someone who needs hours by the end of the month.

The response to our Practice Preschool has been overwhelming, and our initial session has already filled. However, we are still accepting applicants, and we will contact parents to let them know when we will be able to welcome their little ones. So if you or someone you know has a child who will be three years old by September 1, we invite you to fill out the interest form, and we will be in touch: http://bit.ly/SASPracticePreschool

Join Us On Lenten Fridays at 2:00 p.m.

Stations of the Cross will be held every Friday during Lent in Church at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome to join us. Ask your child when it's his or her turn to participate, and be sure to put it on your calendar.

SAS is Now the 5-times consecutive Food Drive Champ!

Thank you so much to all of the families who donated to our collection for the Slam Dunk Hunger Out of Lansing Food Drive. We won for the 5th year in a row, averaging over five units per student enrolled. The plaque will be updated and returned to its display spot. But the true winner here is the Lansing Food Pantry, which received over 5,000 donations from all of the Lansing schools combined. It feels so good to do something nice for others in need! As for our in-house winners, 5th Grade, the SAS Candy Cart will be coming your way very soon--we just need to get through A Night at the Palace first. Thank you for your patience!

Please Enter Daily Through April 1!
