What to do in an emergency!
DRSABCD
D - Danger. Ensure that the area is safe for yourself, others and the patient.
R - Response. Ask the persons name and squeeze their shoulders.
S - Send For Help. Call triple zero (000) for an ambulance.
A - Airway. Open mouth. If there are any foreign material present, place the patient in the recovery position and clean the airway with your fingers.
B - Breathing. Check for breathing: look, listen and feel. If there is normal breathing place in recovery position and monitor their breathing. If they are not breathing continue onto point C.
C - CPR. Start CPR - 30 chest compressions to 2 breaths. Continue CPR until help arrives or patient recovers.
D - Defibrillation. Apply defibrillator if available and follow voice prompts.

Recovery Position
This is the recovery position which is needed during the process of DRSABCD
