Director's Notes
This week is the Easter Egg Hunt and Open House. Bring in 12 eggs filled per child (if you want to participate). We will do the egg hunt during recess. If you have friends who want to visit, please have them contact me ASAP.
We have CC this coming week and then have a break the week of March 29th -- This is a great time to catch up on CC review or enjoy an off week! There are great events coming up (see details below) - stanford testing, field day, caverns field trips and more!
Week 21 Preview
Family Presentation: White
Clean Up Families: White, Ramsey
Recess Families: Beavers, Jennings, Coursey, Speicher
(Responsible for kitchen and main area, returning chairs/tables before leaving for the day.)
Fine Arts: Orchestra and Composers for the next 6 weeks. We will do these as a group and gather and sit as a class in the morning.
Parent Practicum: Navigating History - Art of Argumentation
Join us for the free parent practicum this summer. This is a great equipping time to prep for the coming year, get encouragement from veteran CC families and build relationships with your community and other local communities. Children are invited to attend camps for $42/child for 3 days of fun (and learning). Tutors and substitutes will train in the afternoon during each day of practicum. Book reps will be available to purchase CC Bookstore supplies for no shipping cost.
Camps Available: Nursery (ages 0-2), Play Camp (ages 3-5), Geo Draw (ages 6-8), Academic (ages 9-12, camp topic varies based on location from History (CC Joppa)) and Science (CC Nottingham).

Mar 9th and 16th 6:30-8:30p MNO/Focus & Align Workshop at Ramsey Home
Join me for 2 evenings of fellowship and time to refocus on homeschooling! I am in love with Read Aloud Revival and recently did attended an online workshop. I want to spend time together and break up the 2 hour workshop over the 2 nights. It will have you evaluating yourself, your homeschooling and creating an action plan that mirrors what your vision and brings homeschooling from a state of rest!

Mar 22 9:10-3:00p Open House at Trinity Church
Interested families can visit and sit in on Foundations and Essentials classes. This will be the last chance to see CC in action before next year.
Mar 22 Easter Egg Hunt
Families are invited to participate during recess. Each child should bring in 12 filled eggs. Kara Yoder will hide these eggs and the kids will hunt for the eggs and come home with 12 eggs each (hopefully different eggs than they brought). See Kara Yoder with any questions.
Mar 24th BSO "Peter and the Wolf" REGISTRATION CLOSED

April 21st-22nd Stanford 10 Testing
Registration for the Stanford 10 paper and pencil test is now open on the Classical Conversations' website. Testing at Trinity Church in Joppa is Thursday, April 21st and Friday, April 22nd from 9am-1:30pm. The church's location at 2907 Mountain Road is just off of I-95 making it convenient for Harford, Baltimore and Cecil County homeschooling families.Seats are available for students in 3-12 grade. Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up soon. Cost per student is $50 until March 20th, 2016. Late registration will be open until March 27th, 2016 for $55. No refunds or transfers after March 27th, 2016. Contact Rachel Tate with any questions.
April 29th 10am-noon CC Field Day at Annie's Playground (NOTE DATE CHANGE)
Sharon Touryan, Chasity Longworth and Mindy Sather are planning a CC Field Day at Annie's Playground. Tshirt orders and more information to come. Parent volunteers are going to be needed to help with stations.
May 10th Indian Echo Caverns with CC Jarrettsville
Visit and tour Indian Echo Caverns. Pack a lunch and eat in their picnic area. $12 ages 12 to adult, $6 ages 2-11, under 2 is free. Money is due to Laura Ramsey in CASH by March 22nd.
Memory Master Testing (optional)
If your student is testing for memory master,
Two adult proofs must be completed by Tuesday, April 12th (Week 23)
Tutor proofs will be the week of April 12th-19th.
Director proofs will be completed by April 19th (Week 24)
If you have any questions about Memory Master, please let me know. Please work with your student and confirm with their tutor by Week 20 if they plan on testing.
