Early Pick-Up & Change of Dismissal
Change of Dismissal: If you need to change your child's mode of transportation unexpectedly, we ask that you email our registrar, Gail Littlehales, with the request before 2:00 p.m. All Change of Dismissal requests are shared with teachers at 2:00 p.m. While you may additionally email your child's teacher, our registrar is the point of contact for this issue during the day.
Please make sure that you email all dismissal changes to both of your students Reading and Math teachers and Ms. Littlehales (gail.littlehales@fortbendisd.com)
Important Reminders
Laptops:
Please have your child bring a laptop or iPad to school everyday! We will be assigning work on Schoology.
Rainy Day Dismissal:
Take Note If your child is a Red or Silver walker, he/she will either become a car rider and wait for you in our Parent Drive line OR walk home in the rain and meet you in the regular pick-up locations. You should have previously communicated with your child’s teacher about whether your child will either become a car rider or continue to walk home. We ask that all Red and Silver walker parents meet their child in the regular pick-up locations for a less chaotic pick-up. When parents converged onto campus, it is very difficult for our staff to see student movement. Your child's safety is our priority.
Lunch Information:
Please check in at the office where you will receive identification to proceed to the cafeteria to eat lunch with your child on the stage. Parents are only permitted to eat lunch with their own child. At the conclusion of lunch, teachers will announce the commencement of clean-up and the exit for parents. You will then walk back to the front office area and out the doors in the front lobby area.

My daughter Justice is in her senior year of college and she is majoring in Biology and Chemistry. My son, Daven is a junior in high school and is interested in becoming a game designer. Laura Byrd- Math/Science Teacher
My name is Laura Byrd. I am teaching math and science in fourth grade with my lovely partner, Mrs. Payne. This will be my 13th year teaching. I began my career in Alief ISD and then took 10 years off to stay at home with my three amazing children and my husband of twenty-seven years. Many of you may know me as a second grade teacher. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching second grade for the last six years here at Sullivan, but I am really excited for a change. I believe that we should always push ourselves to journey outside of our comfort zones so that we can continue to learn and grow in our lives. I hope to convey that message among many others to my students as well!
