Cyber Academy's Week of Kindness

February 8th- 12th

This week Cyber Academy is celebrating kindness! During this week we encouraged students, learning coaches, families, and teachers to think about ways that we can make a difference in our families and communities. We asked everyone to make the effort to smile, compliment, support, encourage, and make someone's day. It doesn't take that much extra time but will make a difference to someone else.

Kindness should be something we partake in everyday. This week is dedicated to celebrate and share all of the ways that people can be kind to one another.

We would love to hear about how you celebrated kindness! Feel free to share on our Facebook page or with your homeroom teachers.

Our learning labs around the state offer support for students and families as they tackle the content and online system. They provide in person support with locating resources to help students and families find success. There are still spots left for a few of our learning labs around the state.

Teacher Spotlight!

Mrs. Simpson has been teaching for five years and loves it! She grew up at the Jersey Shore. She says the Jersey Shore is pretty much like Myrtle Beach but our water is just warmer. She started her college career at the University of Delaware and transferred in 2008 to Coastal Carolina. She graduated from CCU with honors and a teaching certification in Middle Grades Math and Science!
She lives in the Myrtle Beach area with her husband and 3 children. She LOVES football and enjoys being active and reading.

We are so proud to have Mrs. Simpson as part of our Heron family!!!
