Becoming a Journalist
The minimum degree required to become a journalist is a Bachelors degree. The American University in Washington DC, has one of the best Journalism schools in the United States. That's where I'd like to go.
Tuition for a Bachelor's degree is $21,278 per academic semester. Plus $273 in extra student activity fees. It is $3,621 per semester for a triple bunk original dorm. To apply to the American University you have to finish filling out the common application, send SAT scores, get recommendations from both a high school and college counselor, pay a non- refundable fee of $70, and a mid-year report. AU had an enrollment of 13,061 students in 2014.
