McClatchey Messenger For Staff
Week of February 26, 2018
It's hard to believe it is MARCH!
We only have 56 days of school left.
When I thought about how fast those days will fly by, I thought about a motivational speaker I heard a few years ago. He continually referred to making each day count, instead of counting the days.
At this time of year it is a great reminder to focus on the days we have with our students, co-workers, friends, and family, instead of, focusing on when this happens, or that happens, or when this gets done or that gets done.
In life, all we can do is our best.
Remember to focus on the things you can control
and let go of the things that you can not control or the things that control you.
When we give our BEST each day...it is a day that COUNTS.
WE DID IT!

What if you are in the cafe when we have a lockdown?
The best place to lockdown when you are in the cafe is in the kitchen and have cafe staff lock doors and/or shut gate.
If it is really crowded in the cafe, you can always exit out the doors to the outside and leave the premises.
This is one of the things that Rhonda will talk about with each grade level next week when we meet with her.
