PLC - Collaborative Norms
Presume Positive Intent
Assuming that others' intentions are positive promotes and facilitates meaningful dialogue and discussion, and prevents unintentional put-downs. Using positive intentions in speech is one manifestation of this norm.
Put Ideas on the Table
Ideas are the heart of meaningful dialogue and discussion. Label the intention of your comments. For example: "Here is one idea..." or "One thought I have is ..." or "Here is a possible approach..."" or "Another consideration might be ..."
There will be table tents for each team to have visible at meetings to support the practice of these norms to support collaboration.

On our early release, we will focus on WTW.
Please ensure all your students have been administered Words Their Way spelling inventory. It will need to be administered and scored by our work session on Wednesday. Next week, we will learn about the program, how to decide and assign sorts to your students, and how to instruct your students.
Reminder-Words Their Way can be found in Schoolnet at the bottom of your Unit 1 planner. Kindergarten can be located at the bottom of Unit 2 planner.
