Is it a metal, metaloid, or a nonmetal?

Oxygen is a nonmetal. Oxygen is not a liquid, nor a solid, its a gas. Metal is a solid and the element has to be a solid to be a metal. So therefore oxygen is not a metal or a metalloid.

Physical Properties

Oxygen contains all three matters, gas, solid, and liquid. The liquid and solid forms are a pale blue color. However oxygen gas is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. The oxygen we're most familiar with in the atmosphere has two atoms in every molecule.
