KMS Up2Date
December 4, 2020
Principal's Message
It's hard to believe that December is already here. The National Junior Honor Society and the Kickemuit Community Service Club are busy planning opportunities for our students to support members of the KMS community who may be in need this holiday season. Please remember to scroll down to read about the good things happening here at KMS and how you can help our neighbors.
Please note that the mid-point for quarter 2 is December 22. Please continue to monitor your child's progress closely and reach out to your child's teachers if you have any question or concerns.
Of particular importance is that students who are learning from home, be it full virtual or hybrid model, are required to attend classes as if they were in school. Please remind your child to be properly dressed and sitting up (and not lying in bed). Good study habits at home will contribute to success in class. Also, cameras should be turned on unless your child has permission from administration to not use a camera. We find that some students log in to the session, turn off the camera, and leave the room and not pay attention. Thank you for your continued support.
Lastly, I would like to wish the members of the KMS Community who will be celebrating the Festival of Hanukkah next Thursday night a joyous and memorable experience.
Sincerely,
Dennis Morrell

Coates for Kids!
Dear Families, Please see the following message from Jennifer Oliveira Mancieri and the Bristol Fire Department Women's Auxiliary Unit.
The Ladies and I are Happy to announce that thanks to the generosity of the Bristol Knights Of Columbus we were given 84 new kids jackets to be handed out to Bristol/Warren families in need.
We can't guarantee we will have sizes and colors that families will want or need but we will do our very best to be sure all the children who need coats in our community will get one.
We may have to posts sizes if we find that we have kids who need jackets but don't have their size. If that is the case families in our community will be given the opportunity to purchase a size that may be needed for a child in need.
Pick up will be : Dec 6 from 10-12 at the Hydes Fire Station corner of Annawamscutt and Metacom in Bristol.
