MONTGOMERY HIGH SCHOOL DECEMBER NEWSLETTER
Dear Viking Family,
We value open communication about our school and that is why I am writing to inform you of an incident that occurred on campus on Thursday, November 29.
On Thursday afternoon a non-student entered campus. Montgomery's campus supervision was made aware of the non-student, and that person was escorted to the main office. While in the office, the non-student become uncooperative with our School Resource Officer. Other police officers were called to the school for backup.
During this time, we had to close down the main office. Our front office staff did an outstanding job of keeping the hallways clear. No one was hurt during this incident.
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
I would also like to turn your thoughts at the close of 2018, we are truly thankful for you, our families, students, teachers, counselors, staff, parent groups, and community members who care for our students and faculty. We are so fortunate to be part of this Viking Family!

WASC 2018-2019 Parent Survey:
This year is our self-study year. Your answers to the questions in this survey will help us write a better, more accurate report. Thank you for your time and effort.
Welcome to the MHS/WASC survey, which we are asking you to take on-line. It will be electronically collated and the results will be incorporated into our next WASC study. For those of you not familiar with the process of accreditation, our school is certified by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, or WASC for short. WASC is an association that ensures that schools meet various standards in all aspects of running a school. Some of you may remember our last WASC visit. As part of our commitment to this ongoing process we are inviting parents to participate in a parent survey. Please plan to complete this survey in one sitting. It will take about 15 minutes.
All responses will remain confidential. Thank you for taking the time to answer this carefully and honestly. Your comments are important to us. Please follow the link below.
