Rally on Friday

We have rescheduled our Cougar Olympics Rally for this Friday. Your 3rd period teacher will take attendance and you'll head out to the Stadium. Come to school decked out in your class color: 9th grade green, 10th grade red, 11th grade purple and 12th grade white. Rally game participants will have a mandatory meeting in the Stadium at lunch on Wednesday.

Knit and Crochet club meeting changed!

This week the knit and crochet club will meet this week on Thursday during lunch in room N4. Bring your yarn or a project to work on. See you on Thursday!

WEAR You Going Wednesday

Hey Cougars! Today is "Wear You Going Wednesday"! Did you remember to wear your college gear? If not, no worries! You can try again next week! Remember that each Wednesday, teachers and staff will be wearing gear from a college, university, trade school, or military branch that they either attended, or are a fan of! We'd love for you to join us, so wear your own gear and give us an idea of where you plan to go after high school!

CSF meeting & elections Thursday!

Last chance to join CSF for the semester is this Thursday. All members should attend our second meeting of the year and vote for officers this Thursday, September 16 during lunch in the library forum. Remember that in order to get credit for your membership, you must attend at least 75% of meetings this year! See Mrs. Jumper in B-124 or Mrs. Linden in the library for information and plan to attend on Thursday!

Friday Night Live

Cougars! Do you have what it takes to to be part of a club that creates essential and powerful opportunities for you and your peers!? Are you brave enough to promote the health and well being for our school and community? If so, please come to Ms. Andrade's room (N7) at lunch on Thursday (Sept. 15) to learn about the FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE Club! See you there!

West Park highlights

The varsity football won their 3rd game of the season against West Park 42 to 13. Gio Pifferini scored three rushing touchdowns in the game. Ethan Hasemeier had a receiving touchdown and an interception for a touchdown. Devon Fineou also had a receiving touchdown in the corner of the endzone. Anthony Mahaffey threw for 210 yds and 2 touchdowns. The defense was led by Evan Ward and Jacob Bell who shut West Parks run game. Nathan Long, River Hurst and Declan Robinson Harrassed the quarterback most of the game. The players loved how many students that where at the game on Friday. We hope to see more this Friday for our game against Marysville.

Cougar Cross Country Does Well in Big Time Invitational

This past weekend your Traditional Powerhouse Cougar Cross Country Team showed that they will be Top Section Contenders again this Season by racing Great at the Josh Ruff Invitational on Saturday. The Varsity Boys, led by Cody Foxworthy, Ben Sallee, & Coleman Tobin raced to a 5th place finish (All Divisions) while their Frosh-Soph counterparts WON their Division. Top runners for the FS team were Luka Pagan, and Luka Peeters. The Lady Cougar got Top 20 Medal performances from Chloe Gautschi in the Varsity division and Ella Johnson, Jazmin Villesenor and Taylor Malicote in the FS Division. Next up, The First League Meet of the Season on Today (9/15) at Folsom Lake College. Races start at 4 pm. See ya there! Go Cougars!

Girls golf starts the season with a win.

Last Thursday the girls golf team started the season with a win against Liberty Ranch. Seniors Danielle Jastrab and Sharon McFarland helped the Cougars to a 20 shot win at home. Yesterday, the Cougars lost by one shot against Galt on the road. The Cougars return home to face Union Mine tomorrow. Seniors Maddie Meuser and Sarah Schoener have provided great leadership. Sophomore Wrenna Potter and freshmen Lily Henry and Harper Hennike are playing in their first varsity matches. Go Cougars
