BUS LOOP SAFETY CONCERNS
Page Families --
There has been an increase of families coming into the bus loop after 9:00 AM dropping off late students. This is a huge safety concern, since our buses are often still arriving to drop off students and to pick up students that attend Drew Elementary school. We are kindly asking that you do not enter the bus loop in the morning between the hours of 8:20 AM - 9:30 AM and during the afternoon between the hours of 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM. It is a safety concern to have cars in the loop when school buses are arriving or loading students.
Arrival Reminders:
- Student arrival begins at 8:30 AM with students lining up at the car rider and walker doors. School doors open at 8:35 AM and Arrival doors close at 9:00 AM. If you arrive after 9:00 AM you may park in the car loop and walk your student to the main entrance to sign them in. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE BUS LOOP - buses are still arriving.
- KAH families if your arrive after 8:20 AM you will need to wait in the car riders line for school to open or find a space on the street and walk your student into to KAH. The school doors open at 8:35 AM.
Dismissal and Student Pick-Up Reminders
- Student dismissal begins at 3:15 PM, however, school buses and day care vans begin to arrive at 3:00 PM. If you are picking up a student please arrive before 3:00 PM or park in the neighborhood if it is after 3:00 PM.
- Do not enter the bus loop from 3:00 - 4:30 PM. KAH families please park in the parking lot and walk to the cafeteria door at the front of the school to pick up your student. We have a bus that drops off from Drew that arrives between 4:15 and 4:30 PM.
