Dear Families,
This week's PTA meeting was a total success. It was great to be back in the building together again. I would like to commend the LARGEST PTA board we have ever had. Please consider joining the PTA open board positions or PTA-Council (PTAC) committees.
This week we want to focus more on YOU! Please take this survey in English & Spanish to tell us what YOU want to know more about. We will use these results to make parent workshops, give presentations at PTA meetings, and add material right here in the weekly newsletter.
Finally, I invite you all to the principal's challenge. The old saying, "many hands make light work" and "it takes a village," encompass this challenge I present to you all. I challenge every adult family member to show us the power of one. I urge you to sign up to serve for one hour, one event, or one board position with the PTA. Your service and contribution will ensure that our students get the experiences and services that they deserve. Email our PTA board today to volunteer and accept the challenge to show THE POWER OF ONE!

COVID Information
Information on COVID can be found on the District's dedicated webpage and as always, Mary Keller and your school nurse are available to answer any additional questions. Two main points that you should remember are:
1. If an individual tests positive, they should isolate for five days, and include strict masking at home, isolation from family/others, and then return on Day 6 with continued masking for an additional five days.
2. If an individual is exposed, quarantining could be recommended based on individual circumstances and after discussion with the nurse to determine the need for quarantine or screening, if any.
