Home of the Bush Hornets - 3rd Quater

Greetings from Bush School and Happy New Year! It's so good to be back with everyone at Bush School and to see so many smiling faces! Our students were very excited to return, after the break, and were definitely recharged. Many of you were aware I was out for major surgery. While out, I received many get well cards, notes, and calls to check on my progress and recovery. I appreciate all of your warm thoughts and get well wishes you sent my way. To date, I'm recovering, making good progress and happy to be back at Bush School! Thank you, Mr. Davis and Mrs. Hare for doing an outstanding job covering the office during my absence. Please feel free to stop by the office so we can catch up!

Fundraising and PTO Events

  • Our fall fundraiser was a great success! The total profits were around $3,800. All profits will be used for additional playground equipment.
  • Grandparent's night was well attended and our Chili Supper was tasty. As always, our goal is to break even and accept free will donations for the meal.
  • Meals were provided for the staff during Parent/Teacher Conferences. A BIG thank you those that helped provided items for the meal.
  • The fall Bookfair provided students with opportunities to purchase new books for their reading libraries at home. We had a nice variety of titles of fiction and non-fiction books to select from. A BIG "thank you" to all of the volunteers that worked during those evenings!
  • The Formal February Dance will be held on February 6th. We are in need of volunteers to assist. If interested, please contact the Bush School Office or any PTO Board Member or the Bush School Office.

Thank you for supporting Bush PTO as they strive to provided additional funds and resources for projects at our school!
