Freestyle Skiing
People Compete in the winter game to do tricks on skies
History and Facts
Freestyle skiing was first appeared in 1988 in the winter Olympics. The Olympic freestyle events include mogul skiing, aerials, ski cross, ski half pipe, and ski slope style. The ski cross event includes a qualifying round and a final round. Athletes compete by going down a 100 meter hill with lots of turns and obstacles. They try to go over jumps and there poles are sort of like whips to make them faster. They work better then steal poles.
