Veterans Day Program
- We will be on Advisory Schedule and dismiss from 3rd period a few minutes early so students can get to their advisory teacher's classroom.
- Then, advisory teachers will sit with their classes in the assembly to help supervise. No teachers should be standing on the wall.
Students in the Hallway
Please do not let students out of your class to go to vending machines. This should be taken care of between classes. This is a disruption to other teachers and/or classes. GUARD your instructional time and teach with urgency.
October Challenge Winners
Shout out to Rita Earle, Shelly Greer, Melanie Perry, and Bobby Young for tweeting out every week during the month of October and sharing the great things your classes are doing! Come by Wenning's office to arrange coverage for leaving 30 minutes early from school on a day of your choice!
Shout Out to our War Eagle Football Team
Congratulations to our football team and coaches for winning the 2019 A.F. Bridges Sportsmanship Award for making it to the first round of the state playoffs!
Confidentiality
When speaking with a parent, please never mention another student's name as part of the conversation. Even if the parent starts saying things about another student, we must refrain from confirming or discussing anything that involves students other than their own.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Thank you for reaching out to parents and trying to schedule meetings. Please email or put a hard copy list of parents you met with last Friday in Wenning's mailbox. If you didn't meet with any parents, just send an email stating that.
Spanish Club Food Drive
The Spanish club is sponsoring a food drive and will collect donations during first period from November 13- 26 to donate to the Veterans shelter in town. Please encourage your first period to participate, as there will be a prize for the class with the most canned goods. If you have any questions, please let me know.
November Challenge
This month's challenge is to video yourself teaching and fill out a reflection sheet to discuss with Jenn or Dawn. We have new cameras just waiting to be used. I promise it is one of the easiest ways to strengthen your practice. See Jenn to make arrangements!
