Happy Sunday Eagle Families!

Our school year is winding down quickly, there are 33 days of school left. We want to make the most of every day instructionally, please continue to come to school every day and arrive before 8am.

This week, students in grades 3-5 will take the NC Check-Ins. Please make sure to bring your laptop to school, charged, eat breakfast daily, and get plenty of rest each night. We want students to do their best.

This month we are celebrating the Month of the Military Child. Spirit week is this week and we encourage all of our students to show their support by participating in our daily themes. On Monday, wear red, white and blue to show your patriotism. On Tuesday, wear camo and on Wednesday you may dress as your favorite hero. Thursday is Squad Day, you may dress alike with your friends and on Friday, wear purple.

Important Reminders

1. Students riding buses, please remember to wear your mask and keep it on the entire ride.

2. NC Check-Ins- Monday (Science), Tuesday (Math), and Wednesday (Reading)

3. The iReady diagnostic window opens this week.

4. Students will have school, face-to-face, on Wednesday.

5. April is the Month of the Military Child. Spirit week is this week and all students may join in the fun.

6. Purple Star Award Ceremony is on Wednesday, Apr. 14, 10am-12noon (Zoom meeting online)

Purple Star Live Feed Information

On behalf of the Office of the State Superintendent, it is with great honor that we invite you to the 2020-2021 Purple Star Award Ceremony on April 14th, 2021, from 10AM-12PM. This ceremony, to be held virtually, is to honor the awardees who received the Purple Star Award designation this year. This designation is especially important to our state because it indicates that the district / school is military-friendly and, thus, supports military-connected children.
