What's a Precinct?
A precinct is the region that you belong in.
It decides what polling place you go to vote.
To find your polling place, go to voterlookup.sos.state.oh.us/
Wait, what if I want to register in advance?
It's Easy!
Just go to vote.minneapolismn.gov/voters/register
(or similar websites for your state)
Then, provide the information it requests
If you want to register on election day, just go to your polling place with a form of identification.
If you can't be there
Then just mail an absentee ballot by at least 5:00 pm on the previous day.
It is recommended that you apply for a ballot a month before election day.
So, who can't vote?
- If you haven't lived in your state long enough
- you are a criminal
- live in a mental hospital
Why wouldn't I vote?
People don't vote for many reasons.

- Some people don't care
- Others feel their vote doesn't matter
- And some people are just sick on election day.
