What's a Precinct?

A precinct is the region that you belong in.

It decides what polling place you go to vote.

To find your polling place, go to voterlookup.sos.state.oh.us/

Wait, what if I want to register in advance?

It's Easy!

Just go to vote.minneapolismn.gov/voters/register

(or similar websites for your state)

Then, provide the information it requests

If you want to register on election day, just go to your polling place with a form of identification.

If you can't be there

Then just mail an absentee ballot by at least 5:00 pm on the previous day.

It is recommended that you apply for a ballot a month before election day.

Why wouldn't I vote?

People don't vote for many reasons.

Here are the 3 biggest.

- Some people don't care

- Others feel their vote doesn't matter

- And some people are just sick on election day.
