Quick Note From Principal Turner
Last week we welcomed back our scholars and each other as we got off to a positive start to 2016. We had several community field trips that exposed our scholars to places such as the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and to Phillip O. Berry High School. Our Montessori team did an awesome job promoted our Montessori program at the School Choice Fair on Saturday and even made the Channel 14 News. A variety of community partners ranging from the Charlotte Optimist Club to Carolinas Healthcare have contacted our team requesting to work with our scholars. But most important of all, there was phenomenal teaching, learning and relationship building taking place in every classroom on each grade level throughout the campus last week. I appreciate your efforts to truly connect to our scholars and to make your content relevant and exciting.
As we go into our final exam week please seek each opportunity you have to use your content area and your past experiences as a platform to motivate, inspire and push our scholars to finish out the semester strong and to do their very best on their exams.
Thank you for being amazing leaders and continue to press onward Spartans!!!
