Harvest Bounty Fundraiser a Success
Great news...we were able to have our Paint and Support on Friday evening. It was so much fun and we were able to raise $707.00 for Harvest's Bounty. Thanks go out to everyone who worked so hard to make this night a success. Lorraine Finch, Barb Todaro, Connie Tabory, Melissa Vitali, Vanessa DiCianna, Marie Ripepi, Kathy Funkhouser, Deia Biddle, Joey Papdakos...thank you for donating food, baskets, time and talents. Many thanks to our host for the evening, Casey Clark, owner of "Off the Wall Arts." She did an outstanding job and has a such a nice studio. Thanks go out to everyone who attended and helped us raise money for this important cause.
Let's do another one next year...

Annual SHASDA Banquet
Derrick Andress and Mercedes Wisyanski are two senior class student members at Charleroi High School who will be recognized by SHASDA (South Hills Area School Districts Association) on Saturday, April 30th at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe, Canonsburg, PA as our District winners of this year’s SHASDA award.
This award is designed to identify students who have demonstrated significant improvement and/or overcome obstacles in attaining their current status; it is designed to recognize growth and improvement.
The nominees are selected by a team that includes administrators and faculty members who identify students who meet the above criteria. A variety of factors are considered as the final two are determined.
Derrick’s career interests are in the auto body industry. Mercedes is interested in pursuing a career in Criminal Justice.
They both were overwhelmingly selected by our staff and are worthy of the recognition of the award.
Congratulations Derrick and Mercedes!
