Magnets
Magnets were discovered by a man named Magnes long ago. Magnets are a piece of iron (or an ore, alloy, or other material) that has its component atoms so ordered that the material exhibits properties of magnetism, such as attracting other iron-containing objects or aligning itself in an external magnetic field. Magnets have magnetism is physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charge, resulting in attractive and repulsive forces between objects.
Superconductors
A superconductor is a substance capable of becoming superconducting at sufficiently low temperatures.
Types Of Magnets
One type of magnet is a temporary magnet. A temporary magnet are those which act like a permanent magnet when they are within a strong magnetic field, but lose their magnetism when the magnetic field disappears. There are also permanent magnets. Permanent magnets are magnets that retain its magnetic properties in the absence of an inducing field of current. Another type of magnet is an electromagnet. A electromagnet is a soft metal core made into a magnet a magnet by the passage of electric current through a coil surrounding it.
How Do Magnets Make Life Easier?
They help with trains that run on magnetic tracks.
