What's Happening in Music?
Students are off to a great start in music. After a brief introduction/review of procedures, all classes have begun singing, moving and playing. Our focus has been on steady beat and rhythm. Steady beat lays the foundation for rhythm so we spend a lot of time moving to it, playing it and even drawing it. Second and third graders are also learning the half note and whole note. Let the fun begin!
3rd Grade
Learning to play a crossover pattern.
2nd Grade
Creating their own rhythms.
1st Grade
Moving with the Syncopated Clock.
