Walden took an interactive tour at BETA Technologies where they discussed their electric aircraft, renewable energy, and natural resources needed for electric aircraft. They observed the circuit board building process at BETA. Each student got a chance to pilot the plane and learned how to engineer a takeoff and landing from a BETA pilot.

Nurse Announcements
Our school district has seen a rise in flu, COVID-19, and other respiratory illnesses over the last few weeks.
Please monitor your child for symptoms of respiratory illness. Symptoms include fever, headache, chills, body/muscle aches, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, and sore throat. If your child is sick, please keep them home and consider reaching out to your healthcare provider. Illness may be the common cold, or it may be caused by RSV, Flu, or COVID-19, all of which can lead to more serious illness.
Check with the school nurse for information on when your child can return to school after being sick and/or for current COVID-19 guidance. Generally(with the exception of COVID), they may return to school if their symptoms have improved and they have been fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications.
Here are some ways to keep your family and others healthy during this time:
