Year 8 would like to thank Ms. Amin and Mrs. Stables for helping us with designing our charity box. They brought our design to life and went above and beyond. Greatly appreciated.
The DKA Concert 2016
Appreciations to Juwiariah Tariq, Hasnain Ali, Afshan Mehreen and all the Year 10 helpers who showed great civility in escorting parents to the concert, and raising charity funds for Aleppo at the event.
And well done to all the performers in Years, 7, 8, 9 - especially to Aleeza Riaz & Aniqa Rehman (Year 9) for compering, and Imaan Zahra (Year 7), who showed both guts and talent to sing her song as a solo when her singing partner was unable to come in to school to perform
Year 7 and 8 had a lovely time in York where they learnt about chocolate, ate lots of chocolate and even made some themselves! They conducted themselves wonderfully around York and demonstrated exactly why they went through the whole of first term with zero behaviour logs!

Mr Fieldhouse and Mr Ellis – for creating an excellent exam skills lesson that was delivered to Year 10 students. This lesson is essential for students to be able to access cycle 2 assessment.
Mr Gayle – for his diligence in beginning to create 100% sheets.
Ms Khan RE – For all of her support in leading the KS3 Religious curriculum.
All the Geography teachers – For planning and teaching an excellent walk through talk through mock. This will support students in the mocks.
