Happy Mother's Day to All Our Lee Mothers and Grandmothers!

All students will take STAAR assessments this week. See the STAAR dates below, please. It is important that students are on time and well-rested.


Students may bring non-iced goldfish crackers or animal crackers as a snack during STAAR testing. They may also have water.


The Counseling Center will be closed from about 11:00 am to 1:30 pm each day this week.

Students Turn In Textbooks May 9 or 12

Collect textbooks to turn them in on May 9, 12, and 16 in the cafeteria. While you're at it, look for library books and uniforms.

National Junior Honor Society Hosts Walk for CMN--Friday, May 13

The National Junior Honor Society is hosting a walk on Friday, May 13. Eligible students can pay $5 to walk an entire class period. If they do not have $5, students can still participate by paying $1 to walk during the last ten minutes of the class period. Eligibility to walk is based on behavior. All donations benefit the Children's Miracle Network.

School Supplies for 2016-2017 - Updated Message from Mrs. Sanchez

Order 2016-2017 school supplies.

Order by May 13 and pick up supplies at August registration.

Students, you have one week left to order school supplies online. Take advantage of having your school supply shopping done and waiting for you to pick up at registration in August. Remember there are extra order forms at the front desk if you need one. ---Mrs. Sanchez

Message about Cafeteria Charges

Students,


Friday, May 13 will be the final day that students are allowed to charge in the cafeteria. We currently have $564.19 in charges that need to be paid before the year ends. Students will not be allowed to purchase items from the snack bar if they have charges nor will they receive your report card or STAAR testing report if they have cafeteria charges. So ----- pay your charges before May 13! ---Mrs. Sanchez

Library Books Due May 13

All library books are due May 13. Mrs. Grover will be sending out notices this week. Please contact Mrs. Grover if you have questions.

8th Grade Picnic Info

Our 8th graders will enjoy the annual 8th Grade Picnic on Friday, May 20.

Attention 8th grade parents or other parents helping at the 8th grade end-of-the-year picnic at Producers Park on May 20:


Please make sure you are VIPS approved before attending this event. It only takes a few minutes to fill this application out and then you will receive an email that you are approved usually within a week or so sometimes sooner. Please do not wait till the week of and expect to be approved as there will be an abundance of parents trying to be approved for their elementary child's school parties. Thank you in advance for wanting to be part of this event and volunteering your time.
