Tech Bits and Bytes
Information to enhance your technology use at WCPS
DEADLINE: H:// drive and Windows 10 Conversion
**If you are exclusively a Mac user, this update does not apply to you.**
Staff should move all H:// drive files to Google Drive or OneDrive by Monday, December 2. Taking action now can help you retain your files and any work you save to your PC.
If you use a Windows desktop computer and you save files to your computer, your work needs to be uploaded to one of the cloud-based options.
See the buttons below for a helpful video and step-by-step directions for moving your files from your H:// drive to the cloud.
The sooner your work is moved, the better!
OneDrive Quick Tip: You can move whole folders to OneDrive if you use the Google Chrome browser. Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox will only let you migrate individual files.

COMING UP: Phone System Upgrades
Wednesday, November 20:
The voicemail system will be upgraded between 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. During this time, voicemail and auto attendants will be offline.
The Technology department will be making upgrades to the phone system. Work is expected to be completed between 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. During this time, there may be periods where outgoing and incoming calls cannot be made or received, including the ability to call 911 from WCPS phones.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation while these enhancements are completed!
