As of August 14th, the Career Center has resumed operations on the 2nd floor of Clark Howell Hall.
Walk-in hours are regularly held Monday-Friday from 12:00-2:00 PM in the Career Center multipurpose room. Check for your career consultant's satellite hours here.

Summer 2018 Research Internship Opportunities
U.S. Army Institute for Surgical Research Summer Internship Program: This opportunity is open to only Bachelor level candidates. U.S. Citizenship is REQUIRED. The intent of the undergraduate student internship is to provide an opportunity for students interested in science, engineering or medical career fields to participate in research directed at improving the care of injured military service members and society at large. Arch Ready: Professionalism on the Job
Time: 4-5 PM
Location: MLC, Rm. 150
Students will learn how to create an appropriate work wardrobe on a "college budget." Students will also learn how to succeed in the workplace including meeting etiquette, the use of social media, and how to navigate work social interactions such as happy hours and business travel.

During this interactive session, participants will learn more about the meaning of implicit bias and ways that biases are formulated. Understanding implicit bias is important, as these views can alter our professional success by shaping our decisions, attitudes, and reactions. As we explore these issues, we will discuss ways that you can assess employer diversity and inclusion during the job search.

Arch Ready: Backpack to Briefcase
Time: 4-5 PM
Location: MLC, Rm. 150
A program for students to learn the differences between college and work environments. Students will also learn tips to help manage a budget, find a place to live, and understand insurance/benefits vocabulary.
