For more information, contact Lori at francoln@pacbell.net. Nominations close on Friday, February 12th.
Saturday School - The Saturday School Academy is offered to students who currently have absences in their attendance record this school year. Students will receive an invitation to participate based on their attendance history during Homeroom 3-4 weeks prior to a Saturday School Academy. Parents and students may also pick-up applications 2 weeks prior to any Saturday School date. These Saturday School Academies enable students to re-capture “lost learning” due to absences by engaging in a range of activities such as, tutorials, test prep sessions, enrichment activities, and/or gain project assistance while helping the school earn back lost attendance-related school funding. Classes will be held at DATA from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm, on February 27th (invitations for this date to be sent out Monday, February 8th), March 19th, April 16th, and May 28th.
Important Notice for Parent/Guardian(s) of 6th Graders - If your student has not had their Tdap vaccine yet, they must do so as soon as possible. Students without the vaccine will not be allowed to start 7th grade in August. There will be a Tdap clinic February 25th at DATA from 7:30-9:30 am for students who need to be vaccinated (parent must be present). More details available in the DATA Health Office.
