Engage! Project Based Learning

Canvas Online Class

Welcome to Engage! Project Based Learning module, an online class with a face to face (f2f) kickoff. Are you ready for an adventure? Not only will you learn all things PBL, but have fun while doing it. Establishing a PLC (Professional Learning Community) is one of the greatest benefits in online classes. We will be learning alongside each other through out the seven modules. So grab your sunblock, beach towel, sweet tea, head for the pool, beach, lake with laptop in tow for some valuable online learning.

Virtual Introductions

Let's meet each other virtually. Take a minute to record your introduction using FlipGrid. What is FlipGrid? It is a grid of short discussion-style questions that students respond to through recorded videos.

How does FlipGrid work?

Watch this short video.

View My Introduction:

Using your computer, watch the the introduction - click on my picture at the bottom. Come back as often as you would like to view your colleague's introductions.

To record your introduction:

Download the FlipGrid app from the iTunes Store or Google Play Store. Type hashtag f1bdf5 to access our class FlipGrid.

Click on the green plus, agree to the Terms of Service and record (30 seconds or less) your introduction. No log in necessary.

Tips: to see other's introductions, swipe to the left. To hear, be sure your ringer is turned on - it sounds crazy, but it hasn't been updated in the new version yet.
