The Housing Arrangements
Come to the The Black Willow Treehouse! Located in everywhere in Eastern United States and in Canada. The Black Willow will protect you from Barred Owls, Great Horned Owl, Big Brown Bat, Fiery-search, and Bald-Faced Hornet. The big, bushy leaves will keep out the predators.
The Food
For the caterpillars, there is many different kinds of leaves that you can bite on like Sweet-gum, American Beech, Keel Maple, Hickories, White Oak, Black Cherry, Willows, American Chestnut, Smooth Sumac. Their eating section in near the middle next to the Egg Hatching Section.
The DayCare Section
After the Female Luna Moths lay their 200 eggs, the baby caterpillars eats its way out from the egg ten days later. They start eating once they get out. They moult five times in 3 or 4 weeks. Once they are fully grown, they will be moved to the other side of the Daycare so they will be able to turn to a pupa. They will be in there for two to three weeks.
