November Newsletter

A Busy Month!

October was a busy month at CES. Fire Safety Week and Halloween festivities added to the goings on.

Also, we are proud to be nominating Tabitha Sheedy as a candidate for "Kid Governor." Tabitha worked with Mrs. Gingrich at school and at home with her family on her project, "Homeless Children and How We Can Help." Best of luck, Tabitha!

Our students and families did a super job with the fall fundraiser. We surpassed our goal of $3,500 in sales, so students and staff will celebrate with a pajama day!

PJ Day for Cohort A: November 10

PJ Day for Cohort B: November 13

Sales are open through November 6. The principal for a day winner will be announced after that date.

Thank you all for your support!

Veterans Day

Unfortunately, we are not able to celebrate Veterans Day with our traditional activities. We still want to honor our veterans. Classes have been invited to do a lesson or activity within their individual classrooms to help students understand the importance of our veterans. Thank you to all who have served.

PTO Apparel Sale

The CES PTO will be selling school spirit apparel just in time for holiday gift giving. The CES store will be reopening on Tuesday November 3rd. You can place your order online and any items purchased will be sent home with the students once the items arrive or they can be picked up from the blue table in the vestibule during school hours. We will be sending an email with the store link this week. CES will be having school spirit days where students and staff can wear their CES apparel! Thanks for your support.

Library Dedication

Today was a very special day. CES staff and students joined together to dedicate the CES library to Mrs. Morrison. She was surprised and very touched. Best wishes in your retirement, Mary!
