Dear Richland Families,

Happy Mother's Day to so many amazing moms and many who take on the role of mom! I hope you're enjoying your special day. It’s been an extra special weekend for me as my older daughter, Kaity, graduated from Rider University on Saturday!

To all Richland families, thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness. Our staff was blown away by the amazing luncheon you provided us on Tuesday, the treats throughout the week, and the touching handwritten notes from students. You truly warmed our hearts!

We want to celebrate all who have volunteered throughout this school year. Please reply to our Volunteer Luncheon invitation below. We have more ways to volunteer this spring! Please consider sharing aspects of your culture or another country during International Week. Dates and information are in this newsletter. And we can't have a fantastic field day without you! Volunteer sign-ups are also below.

As a reminder, there is no school this Tuesday for Election Day. Be sure to read all reminders and upcoming dates.

I am beginning a brief medical leave this week, so I will not send newsletters for the next few weeks. However, the Richland office will continue to send a smore with reminders and updates. Ms. Jaime Maddon, current Assistant Principal at Neidig and Pfaff Elementary Schools, (and former RES teacher!) will be at Richland during my absence. Students, families, and staff are in great hands! Ms. Maddon will be available in Richland's office and at jmaddon@qcsd.org.

Happy Mother's Day, and have a wonderful week!
