Birthday Books - No Treats or Trinkets

At Neihardt we stopped bringing birthday day treats years ago due to food allergies and other health concerns. Instead, families were invited to send in pencils or other small items to share with classmates. This year due to the virus we are not distributing items sent from home. An alternative would be a donate a book to your child's classroom or our school library. Simply send your donation to the classroom teacher and we will see that a book is purchased or send a copy of our child's favorite book to school. (The book will be quarantined prior to adding it to our collection.)

Please share this information with anyone that drops off or picks up students at Neihardt.

Flow - Please have your child ready to exit the car once you stop at the curb. If your morning routine involves getting out of your car, we would ask that you park somewhere other than the drop off lanes. Maintaining a constant flow in the drop off lanes is essential to our overall arrival plan.

Drivers Ed Lesson - When driving during our one-way street times, drivers need to be in the left lane in order to make a left turn. We have had some near accidents with cars making left turns while in the right lane. Please refer to my highly technical drawings below.
