Reflections from Elder's Desk
You make a difference at AMCHS.
The core to any successful campus is having teachers who are not satisfied with mediocrity yet pushed beyond the boundaries to help students reach unimaginable levels. Though there are challenges that lie ahead, together we will continue addressing those barriers that prevent ALL students from excelling. I challenge you to reflect on this past school year, address those areas where students underachieved, and examine how you will address the issues in the fall.
As a school family, we are committed to providing high-quality instruction for all students, maintaining a disciplined atmosphere, incorporating instructional practices to support learning and empowering ALL students to reach their optimal level.
There is no doubt, the bulk of our work begins during the summer--learning new curriculum, designing new lessons, and planning. However, we must take care of our needs, rest, and relax and be ready to reach that next level of success.
Thank you for another remarkable year at AMCHS, and I hope you have a restful summer. Be cognizant these last two weeks of school and report any suspicious behavior to the front office.
