February 22, 2021 - CSA Students Return

March 2021 - The original in-person students return.

April 2021 - We expand and bring additional students back.

The district needs information and will be surveying families. Here are the survey types.

All Family Survey: This district will survey all families about district and school satisfaction. Please fill this out! We need input. All families that complete this survey will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Market Basket Gift Card if completed by February 17th. The district will give me names of families that completed the survey, but not the results. This allows you to maintain anonymity but qualify for the gift card. Detailed information on pooled testing is available through this additional SMORE in several languages. This is completely voluntary. We do not require this. Lowell Public Schools will be participating in "pooled testing" for COVID. Once we return, students and staff can voluntarily participate in weekly free COVID testing in school. The testing is completed using a short nasal swab and will be done by the nurse or principal. Results will come back within 72 hours. Students in grades 2 and above will do the nasal swab themselves with supervision. We do not have the complete details yet, but interested families will need to fill out a consent form. The new upload occurred this week, and money should appear on the P-EBT cards around January 25th. Please check the balance by calling the number on the back and entering the PIN if you have a card. If you need to get additional information, please call1-877-382-2363 - Press 6 to get support.

If you have never received a card, please check your mail.

Things to Remember:

1. Don't ever throw out your card. It gets reloaded each month.
2. Remember your Pin # and store it in a safe place.
3. Everyone is considered remote, so the balance each month should be $117.40 per student in Lowell Public Schools.
4. When your child returns to school, the balance will be reduced to $58.60 per student.
5. This is funded month-to-month, so please do not rely on this grocery money long-term.
