Barnard Academy Values
This statement is our faculty work - in - progress, as we define our unique shared direction. We welcome your contribution and inspirations in this process and will be providing ways for you to engage in the upcoming school year.
Dear Barnard Academy Families,
I hope that this summer has held many moments of contentment and creativity. I hope this message finds your family healthy and happy. A warm welcome to our returning families and an extra special welcome to those who are joining our school community for the first time. We are thrilled to have you all with us for this upcoming year!
At Barnard Academy, we believe that education is a shared responsibility between the school, parents, and students. With this in mind, we would like to take this opportunity to outline some important information that will contribute to a successful and enriching school year.
Our primary focus the first weeks of school will be devoted to creating a safe, collaborative, and supportive climate and culture. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive academic programming where students learn solid foundational skills. Our highly qualified and passionate educators have engaging lesson plans that align with the academic standards while promoting student-centered learning. I encourage you to maintain open lines of communication with your child’s teachers to ensure a strong partnership between home and school.
As we prepare for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, I would like to provide you with some important updates and information.
