GenNext's 4th Annual Day of Caring

Congrats on submitting your project!

The DoC is fast approaching!

In a few short weeks you will be participating in a truly rewarding community event that brings together over 200 volunteers to complete 30 projects to non for profits through out the City of Thunder Bay!

HEY! THIS IS IMPORTANT INFO!

Here is some of the important things you will NEED to know prior to event day:

-You will be contacted by Kateri Skaarup or her team for a site visit this week to discuss details.

-Must have one representative from your agency attend all festivities for the day, including breakfast and being present on project location.

-You are HIGHLY encouraged to tour your agency site and explain what your agency does prior to project start...Build lasting relationships with your volunteers!

-Make sure volunteers know where to find restrooms and first aide on your site.

-Have all material that Your agency provides be on site the day prior to event.

Above all be a kind and courteous host! Can't wait to see you all out for a great day!

The United Way’s GenNext Cabinet is Thunder Bay’s leading organization for young adults who are dedicated to making our community stronger in awesome ways. We are all about involving the 18-40 year-old demographic and inspiring the next generation of giving and volunteering in our community. Our future is in the hands of a very capable group of ladies and gents, and GenNext is here to give them the tools to maintain and enhance the beautiful city we all live in.
