Boys Soccer/Girls Volleyball Season Coming Soon!

Boy's soccer and girl's volleyball season is quickly approaching and students who are interested in playing should begin making sure they are ready.

Boy's soccer will be coached by Coach Staup and Coach Burns, with tryouts February 12-14th. If your student-athlete makes the team, they will be required to purchase black soccer socks, Adidas soccer shorts, soccer cleats, and shin guards, but please do not feel obligated to purchase these items before the tryouts end and the team is made.

Girl's volleyball will be coached by Coach Cruz and Coach Smith, with tryouts running from February 12-14th. If your student-athlete makes the volleyball team, each player will be required to have tennis shoes/volleyball shoes, knee pads, and appropriate length shorts.

If you are interested in trying out for either sport, please make sure you have an updated physical on file, a parental permission form filled out, and must have watched the concussion video with one of our coaches. The concussion video will be showed on February 5th at 5pm in the health room, and February 7th at 3:15 in the health room. Both the student-athlete and a parent or guardian must be in attendance. If you have already tried out for a sport or played a school sport, you will not need to watch the concussion video again, but please double check with Coach Staup or Coach Johnson to make sure your physical and parental permission form are up to date. Lastly, please make sure your grades are up and your school absences are low. At tryouts, we will be looking at the student-athletes previous semester grades and attendance. If you have any questions, need a physical or parental form, or would like to check eligibility, please see Coach Staup or Coach Johnson.
