Welcome to the 2023/2024 school year. We want this to be a rewarding and exciting year for your senior. This newsletter includes important dates, information on how to earn an extra ticket to graduation, senior pictures, senior parking spaces, yearbooks and senior ads. Here are several important dates/happenings that you need to be aware of as it will be a busy year:

August 7: Purchase a SBHS parking permit

August 14-27: Senior Parking Space Painting
August 24: Open house from 12:00-1:00 pm or 4-6 pm
August 28: First Day for Students

September 18: Senior Class Meeting about Graduation orders

October 5: Graduation orders submitted during lunch and from 2:30-5:00pm
October 6: Homecoming Football Game
October 7: Homecoming Dance 8:00-11:00 pm
October 14: Homecoming/Mullet Festival Parade 9 am
October 14-21: College Application Week

December 11-15: Senior Spirit Week
December 14: Senior breakfast

January 17-20: Fall Semester Exams
January 17-20: Deadline to Submit SAT Hours to Mrs. Rains

June 7: Parking Space must be repainted black to avoid $50 fee

June 14: Graduation Practice 9:00 am and Graduation 7:00 pm
Project Graduation Parent Committee
Parents are needed to volunteer for the Project Graduation committee. The committee meets monthly to fundraise and plan for the Class of 2024 Project Graduation event. Any parent who volunteers at/or attends at least 5 meetings or events will qualify for 1 extra ticket to graduation.
