Thank you and RAK Day

30 August 2021

Dear Parents / Caregivers

I would like to start by saying a big thank you! Thank you for following the restrictions of Level 4, and thank you for supporting your child during this challenging time. Please remember that we do not expect you to try to replicate the classroom programme in your home. The most important thing you can do for your child right now is support their wellbeing; we understand and respect that what this looks like will differ from whānau to whānau.

This Wednesday, 1 September is National Random Acts of Kindness Day - and we’ve never needed it more than in these Covid times. To celebrate, the senior leadership team will be hosting your child’s class Google Meeting one day this week; we are giving our hard working teachers a morning off. Mr WB, Mrs Jaeger and I are looking forward to having some kahoot fun with our awesome students and will be suggesting ways to show kindness to others in their bubble. Consider talking to your child about how they can contribute on RAK day.

Finally, if you know of any families who would like their child to attend FCI next year, please remind them to submit an online enrolment application via Out of zone enrolments close this Wednesday, 1 September at 4.00 pm.

Stay safe in your bubble.
