This survey seeks to assess the professional development needs of North Carolina school counselors. NCDPI and NCSCA will use your responses to plan professional development for this school year. This is an anonymous survey.

NCSCA Awards Nominations

We are excited to extend you the opportunity to nominate your
peers for awards that will be presented at this November's NCSCA
Fall Conference. We invite you to submit nominations for outstanding counselors, administrators, counselor educators and advocates of the counseling profession. Nominations and completed application packets are due October 9, 2015.

Back to School Twitter Chat

We recently hosted our first #NCSCAchat with the topic being Back to School. This was our first attempt at organizing and engaging our members across the state via twitter. Refer to the link below if you'd like to see the conversation.

Conference Spotlight

This year’s sessions include the ever popular “School Counselor Boot Camp” led by Dr. Renee Evans, “Legal and Ethical Issues” led by NCSCA favorite Dr. Carolyn Stone, “Enhancing your DATAbility” led by ASCA Past President Dr. Russell Sabella, and “The Life of LPC Licensure: From Applying to Maintaining” led by duo Dr. Katherine Howard Glenn and Katrina Bryant from LPC Board. These are all important topics and ones that have been requested by our membership. Each of these GAMECHANGING sessions will help to enhance and elevate your counseling programs. North Carolina ACT State Organization Conference

The NC ACT State Organization invites you to attend the 2016 North Carolina ACT State Organization Conference on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the Greensboro Marriott Downtown in Greensboro. This year's theme is Creating Solutions for Success. The conference is designed to inform, educate, and inspire North Carolina's educators and workforce professionals. Sessions feature key education and workforce strategies, best practices, and more.
