Updates have been made to the grading policy as submitted to you by the District office. Teachers are still actively updating each students PowerSchool to note the changes.
We originally stated that PowerSchool would be back up on Friday, but we need to give teachers some additional time to make changes. PowerSchool will be back up and available for viewing on Monday at 8AM.
You are reminded that, all assignments online should be completed no later than Tuesday May 19th.
Please continue to communicate with teachers regarding missed assignments etc. to ensure a passing grade.
Packet Drop Off/Chrome Book Drop Off/Locker Clean Out
We are scheduling the drop off for all packets and chrome books for
Tuesday May 19th for 7th graders and
Wednesday May 19th for 8th graders
Please adhere to the specific day for your student, as we have to minimize entry to the building and will not allow those who are not to be in the building at the time to take over the space of those who are there on the allotted date and time. This process may be time consuming so if we do not have order, it will create chaos.
- Specific times by alpha will be outlined in the next newsletter.
- Only the student and 1 parent or guardian will be admitted into the building.
- Students will turn in library books, computers, and work at this time.
- Students will then be permitted to retrieve all items from their lockers.
- Students will receive all end of the year awards at this time as well.
- 7th graders should be able to pick up their schedules for next year as well.
When you return library books and any other items please have a piece of paper attached by sticky or tape indicated the name of the student returning the item.
These will be the only two days available for students. If you are unable to come to the building at these designated times, you take the chance of items left in lockers being donated to goodwill. Please plan accordingly for the specific day relative to your students grade level.
Washington DC Trip/Model UN Trip
As you are hopefully aware, the 8th grade May trip to D.C. has been cancelled due to Covid-19; however, is being rescheduled for October. Thank you for your patience as we navigate through the changes to the trip and issuing the refunds to families.
Refunds are being processed through the Reynoldsburg District office and the money will be returned to the person that made the payment(s). Checks should be mailed home this week.
The re-scheduled trip has been confirmed and is scheduled for October 7-10, 2020 and the cost will remain $600.
Please complete the form using the link below to sign up for the 9X DC Trip and submit no later than Friday, May 8, 2020. Paper copies will be available during packet/ chrome book collection on May 19th, if you are unable to submit the form online.
If your child is attending the trip in October, we will be accepting 2 payments of $300. Due to the trip being rescheduled so quickly, we will need to collect payments soon, so you may want to keep to your refund to resubmit the payments. The first payment of $300 will be due by Friday, May 22, 2020 and the second payment will be due by Friday, August 14th, 2020.
The 9X office will be open to receive the first $300 payment on Thursday, May 21st from 4-6 p.m. and Friday, May 22nd from 1-3 p.m. Additionally, payment can be mailed to the school at:

If your child lost the trip due to disciplinary issues in 8th grade, s/he is still ineligible for the 9X trip. If your child was signed up to go as an 8th grader, but is not attending Reynoldsburg High School, they are also ineligible to go.
In the event that the Corona Virus Pandemic has not ended and we do not feel that it is safe to travel, the trip will be pushed back to Spring, 2021.
