Parent Notification System

Some of you may have noticed yesterday that we have a new parent notification system here at the school. We are excited about this as it is very easy for us to use. One thing to note is that the number that it comes from is in Arkansas but yes, it really is the school calling you or sending you a text message!

Staff Spotlight-- Debbie Hanson

This is Mrs. Hanson's second year here in Superior and she is teaching a new grade this year! Read on to learn more about Mrs. Hanson!

What is your position at the school?

Teacher- Kindergarten

Where did you go to college? What is your degree in?

University of Montana, Education K-8

What is your favorite food?

What is your favorite thing to do outside of school?

I love to read and spend time with my family.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Greece, Iceland, or Vietnam

Why do you love what you do?

Children are fascinating and full of joy and love and curiosity and they want to share this with everyone they are around. I also enjoy guiding the students in their learning and I love being being a part of the moment when something clicks: It is awesome to see the realization and the understanding of new things unfolding before your eyes.

Why do you enjoy working at Superior Schools?

Superior School District is a family and we are taken care of as such. The support that I receive from faculty, staff, and administration is second to none. Our students are so lucky to have such an amazing team of people educating and supporting them.
