High School Graduation- May 26

East High School Auditorium, 840 South 1300 East, Salt Lake City, Ut 84102

​Class of 2016- May 26th. Graduates please be at East HS at 5:00 for graduation rehearsal. Program will begin at 6:00pm.

High School Prom- May 6, 7:00-10:00

WHEN: Friday, May 6 7:00-10:00 pm
WHERE: Utah State Capitol Rotunda 350 State Street Salt Lake City
ATTIRE: Semi formal and formal. Please be thoughtful in your attire--not too short, too tight, or too revealing. ​
PICTURES: We will be using McCloud Photography to provide photography. Please use PROM 2016 Photography LINK to order and pay for pictures. Pictures must be ordered and paid for before April 30th. ​

As part of this year's prom, we will be holding an art contest and art gallery at prom. Students from all schools may enter a piece of art that is a is their rendition of Van Gogh's painting. Prom attendees will vote and a first ($25 gift card), second($15 gift card) and third ($10 gift card) place winners will be selected.

True Science- A fun exploration of some classic "experiments" that challenges students to answer the question, "is it science?" For grades 6-8

We will be going over a multitude of classic “experiments” and delving into what the scientific method actually is, what is a true experiment, and what variables are and how to control them. At the end of the program each student will prepare and bring home their own true experiment that we will document on Instagram for the next month!

Rube Goldberg Project

7th and 12th grade students join on us on April 8th at 1:00 PST;

2:00 MST; 3:00 CST; 4:00 EST to learn how to build your own

Rube Goldberg machine with items from around the house. This

is a great way to get your creative juices flowing and build

something new and different. Students sign up for session here:


Make a Newspaper Basket

Calling all 7th-12th grade students that love to learn how to make and

create new, innovative projects. Join us on April 12th at 1:00 PST;

2:00 MST; 3:00 CST; 4:00 EST and learn how to reuse newspaper to

make baskets and recycle at the same time. We'll also learn about

the impact of paper on the environment and how we can help. Grab

these items from around the house: newspaper, scissors, glue (stick

glue if you have it), and tape. Students sign up for session here:
