RICHLAND REFLECTIONS
Week of 12/12/22 at Richland Elementary School
Our December spirit of kindness continues! Our updated total raised on CHOP Pajama Day is over $700! Thank you for your generosity. Our service project this month is Read out and Read, a book donation drive led by student reading leaders. Read more about it in the support spotlight below.
See highlights of our assembly and NED's mission that students heard: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best!
We are excited about our second annual Reindeer Run sponsored by our PTO! Thank you to the volunteers who have already signed up. If Friday's weather is inclement, our "Rein-date" is next Monday, 12/19. More information is below.
Please note, unless there is precipitation or extreme temperatures below freezing, students go out to recess every day. Thank you for making sure they dress accordingly.
Let's keep the spirit of kindness going this week. Check out our December spirit days calendar!
Enjoy your week!

REACH OUT AND READ!
Reach out and Read is a nonprofit organization that gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together.
Our third grade reading leaders, Mia S., Ben S., Carter B., Bella R., and Sloane H., are coordinating a book drive for the month of December. Please consider donating lightly used books from your home library. The students are invited to bring book donations all month. In January, we will present the book donation to CHOP’s Reach Out and Read nonprofit organization.
