February is a month focused on love and kindness. Kindness is an act of being friendly, generous, respectful and considerate of everyone we come in contact with. February 22 is Pink shirt day. 2023 official Pink Shirt Day design was inspired by moments of kindness, empathy and understanding that can mean so much to children impacted by bullying. We look forward to seeing the sea of pink in our school on the 22nd.

The 2022/2023 Alberta Education Assurance Surveys are on the way to our grade 4,7 and 10 New Norway School parent/guardians mailed directly from Alberta Education. The survey package includes a copy of the Education Minister's letter to parents/guardians, a letter containing a Random Access Code (RAC) for accessing the electronic survey online, and instructions for accessing the survey in other languages. Thank you to our grades 4, 7 and 10 parents in advance for completing the survey. The deadline for survey completion is February 24,2023. Your feedback is very much appreciated.
