Poultney High School Student Council
Poultney High School Student Council has officially taken over our Monday Morning Meetings. They hosted their first one this week. Congratulations and looking forward to many more well-run meetings.
Monday Career Café
Poultney High School is starting monthly career cafe's with local professionals who will be coming in and meeting with high school students to discuss their careers. Our first one is Monday, and the theme is medical professions.

School Choice
Public High School Choice, Act 129 of 2012, allows students to apply to attend any other high school in the state. The law provides no funding for transportation and, unless schools agree otherwise, no tuition or other charges changes hands. Poultney's School Choice deadline is March 1. Please contact Mrs. Gallipo for more information.

College & Career Pathways 2023 We will also be offering a public event for high school families on Saturday, March 18, 9:30am – 12:30pm. Families can participate in-person at UVM or virtually via Zoom. Find additional details on our website.
High schools around the state are invited to bring students to one of this year's College & Career Pathways events:
These events are free to attend, and students will have the opportunity to take part in workshops on a variety of college and career planning topics. Lunch is provided, and most venues will include the option of a campus tour.

After School Help
We are pleased to announce that we now are offering after school help on Mondays - Thursdays in the cafeteria from 2:45 - 3:45. There is no need to make an appointment; students can just show up and they do not have to stay for the entire time. Please see Mrs. Roach or Mrs. Jones for more information.

Poultney High School is now composting! Please see the following of what can and cannot be put in the compost.
Rutland County Sheriff's Department
The Deputy Sheriff currently assigned to Poultney has a new email address that people can report crimes, speeding, suspicious activity, etc.. People can remain anonymous if they wish.
