A Message From BCE PE:
Hello Bear Creek Families!
WALK TO SCHOOL WEEK is THIS WEEK!!
Starting with Thursday's PE rotation, the City of Austin Public Works Safe Routes to School Program will be presenting a virtual lesson on safety.
The Safe Routes to School Program has sent six bike helmets that we will be raffling off throughout the week! Use the "BIKE HELMET RAFFLE" button above to enter students into the daily raffle for walking/biking to school. Each morning this week from 7:10-7:25 bus riders and BCE Staff children will have an opportunity to participate by walking laps in the gym before heading to the classroom, and Ms. Schultz will enter their names into the raffle :-) Winning recipients will be announced in the school wide morning message.
This week we have a Game Day rotation Monday-Wednesday with a most requested game of BATTLESHIP!! Then we will have our virtual safety lesson beginning Thursday.
